We begin our adventure crossing the national route, exploring valleys and mountains. We arrive at Paso Garibaldi, where we cross the Andes Mountains and get our first view of Lago Escondido. Since 1957, this place has been our home as we work with the local wood, lenga. As we descend towards the Escondido Lake, the exciting off road journey begins to one of the Estancia's shelters. Here, we will stop to interact with the horses and enjoy a delicious breakfast. The more adventurous can opt for a short ride along the shore of the lake. You will experience all the thrill of the Off Road, crossing large water holes and beaver areas until you reach our refuge at Fagnano Lake. Lake Fagnano will be the perfect setting for our lunch. After lunch, you can stroll and enjoy the immensity of Lake Fagnano before returning to the city.

In this trail of about 10 km (round trip) we will have the chance to experience some of the different environments that Tierra del Fuego Island offers us. We will cross the Fuegian Native Forest, we will get to know the important peat bogs and their beautiful reddish tones and we will walk through the imposing Fuegian Andes. We will also see the beaver dams and learn about the history of this animal introduced to the island and the impact on the native ecosystem. We will come across a variety of birds representative of the environments we will pass through. We leave the hotel heading north through the upper part of the city towards the Andorra Valley, where the trail that will take us to the Vinciguerra Glacier begins. Along the way we will enjoy a variety of landscapes such as peat bogs, lush forests of lenga trees and end in the high altitude valley of the Milk River, which is located in the vicinity of the glacier.
