Meet some of Perth's cutest native animals in their natural habitat. Escape the crowds with us and visit the Dryandra Woodlands, a vital conservation area teeming with wildlife. Meet the Dancing Hare (Mala), the acrobatic Woylie, the Bilby with giant ears, the fat tailed Boodie, Brush Tailed Possum and the very shy Echidna. Large mobs of Kangaroos also live here. You will have plenty of time to explore this biodiversity hotspot before enjoying a delightful picnic dinner in the forest, complete with barbecue-cooked meals and local wines. After a one hour flight over the foothills and inland farming country you will enjoy a ground tour of Wave Rock. Experience the spiritual stillness of the Outback and the massive Wave Rock in the cool of the morning, before the lunchtime crowds arrive after their long morning bus drive. You’ll also get to see the curious “Hippo’s Yawn” rock. You will have time for morning tea, to purchase souvenirs and if you wish, stroll through the wildlife park, Toy Museum and Lace Museum.
