Naoshima is the main island of a township made up of twenty-seven islands administered by Kagawa Prefecture. The island has a documented history going back to the Heian period, but today it’s known for its contemporary art museums, which draw visitors from all over the world, especially during the Setouchi Triennale art event held every three years in the region. Since the island is part of the Seto Inland Sea National Park, there are strict rules for the visual impact of new buildings, so many of the art museums are built into the ground, creating an interesting aesthetic of their own. ・You can enjoy to go around Naoshima island by bicycle (with power-assisted bicycle, e-bike) with Private English Speaking guide. ・Chichu Art Museum (excluded entrance ticket's fee : 2100 JPY and you should buy the online tickets) *there is not possible to take a enough time to visit here in this tour )

NIIMI ORIGIN is a locally rooted cultural experience brand based in Niimi, Okayama. We create experiences that can only exist here — shaped by the land, the people, and the way of life that has been quietly sustained over generations. Working closely with local residents, we bring travelers into direct contact with the individuals who carry these traditions forward. Through these encounters, what might otherwise fade becomes visible, valued, and shared. The aim is not only to offer authentic travel, but to support the continuity of local culture. By connecting visitors with living traditions, we seek to create meaningful value for both the community and those who experience it. Each experience is guided by those who live here, and designed with the belief that culture is not something to be displayed, but something to be lived and passed on.
