City Tour Joao Pessoa From Natal
João Pessoa, capital of Paraiba, is the third oldest city in Brazil, known as "the city where the sun rises first", because Ponta do Seixas is the easternmost point of the Americas. The tour to João Pessoa goes through the main historical sights of the city, stopping at São Francisco Museum and Church, buildings protected by the Iphan (Institute of National Artistic and Historical Heritage), for representing an important legacy of the baroque architecture and art in Brazil in the eighteenth century, then you will pass by Praça João Pessoa, Parque Sólon de Lucena and lighthouse of Cabo Branco where you can see the Ponta do Seixas. After the lunch stop we will visit Jacaré beach where a boat ride can be hired (optional) to enjoy the sunset with Ravel's famous Bolero and there are also handcraft stores. The distance between Natal and João Pessoa is 180km, and it takes around 2 hours to get there, with a stop on the way to go to the toilet or buy some snacks.

We begin our journey by going to Sibauma Beach, where there is a village that has a great quilombola heritage. We follow the adventure taking a trail to Barra do Cunhaú! We return to the Jeep and cross the Catu River towards Praia do Amor and the famous Chapadão. We will go by buggy towards the South Coast of Rio Grande do Norte, appreciating the wonderful scenarios composed by cliffs. Our first stop will be at the Barreira do Inferno Launch Center of the Brazilian Air Force. The itinerary follows Pium, and then the Cotovelo Beach. We will continue to Pirangi Beach, home to the largest cashew tree. Soon after we will pass the beaches of Búzios and Tabatinga, where we will stop for beautiful photos in the famous Mirante dos Golfinhos. We will stop for a swim in the clear and refreshing waters of the Arituba Lagoon. We will find a stretch of deserted beach of six kilometers before the encounter of the Lagoon of the Guaraíras with the Sea, where we will take a ferry to cross.
