A local saying in the very south of Sweden is that the country can be divided into two parts of equal value; the part north of Malmö and the part south of it. Sure enough, the scenic, lush fields do indeed live up to expectations. On this tour you come out on the most fertile and productive fields in all of Scandinavia, where you visit old medieval villages and cosy little farmhouses among the fields. After pickup in Malmö we head out to the middle of the countryside south of Malmö. There we jump on the bikes and start our leisurely ride between the villages and farmhouses on the quiet country roads. During the tour we visit little cottage stores, a medieval church, and a raspberry farm where we get the chance to pick our own raspberries. In the middle of the tour there is lunch included at an old farmhouse restaurant with organic food from its own fields and animals, which can also be visited.

Malmö is in the midst of a rapid and exciting development which means that we can undoubtedly speak of the New Malmö. The city, which in its heyday was one of the country's most industrialized, is today rather a multicultural melting pot with a movement and power that is unique, where much of the old is taken advantage of and merges with the new. A new city takes shape, new buildings create new neighborhoods and become symbols of Malmö's rapid change from an industrial city to a green, global and urban knowledge city. Here is a tour for those of you who are interested in the environment and sustainability. The goal for the city of Malmö is to become a global role model for sustainable urban development with neighborhoods such as Hyllie and Västra Hamnen at the forefront. On our tour through New Malmö, we look at Malmö's successful sustainability work by visiting, the Shipyard, the Western Port, with lunch at Malmö Saluhall, Sjöstaden and Kalkbrottet.
