On this day our driver will pick you up early in the morning at 4:00 am from the hotel and head to Musanze district at the Volcanoes National Park headquarters for assembly and briefing about the endangered mountain gorillas and the volcanoes as well. According to how gorillas are located, Gorilla groups are allocated taking into account your overall fitness. Now that you are ready, you will head to the forest to track your gorilla group along with other tourists. Today Our driver will pick you up from your City Hotel at 5 a.m. to start your journey to Volcanoes National Park. The journey to Volcanoes National Park takes an average of 2-3 hours and on reaching the park offices, you will be briefed by park officers and then assigned to a gorilla group to track. You will then be led into the forest by a ranger guide to track the primates. Gorilla trek may take between 30 mins to 8 hours depending on the movements of the primates. However, upon locating the gorillas, you will then spend 1hr with them. After a wonderful time, we trek back out of the forest and then transfer back to the gate. Proceed for lunch and later depart for Kigali where you get dropped off at your hotel.
