You will be picked up around 5AM from your hotel and reach the trailhead after ~3h drive. Beginning the trek, you will go through beautiful trek passes by alpine meadows and beside a river. The trail then ascends up along switchblades to reveal majestic waterfalls and streams. You'll enjoy views of two smaller lakes before your final ascent up the valley. After a steep incline up the mountain, you'll finally reach the renowned azure waters of Laguna 69 (~2h30/3h total hike). You will have ~1h30 of time to enjoy the view and have lunch (not incuded, bring your own picnic) before descending for another 1h30 hike and drive back to Huaraz. NB: this is not a private tour, so the vehicle will pick up different travelers in the morning. However, you will be free to explore and hike at your own pace.

Depart at 9am, private tour to Llanganuco Lakes, Passing by several typical villages like appreciating the beautiful white mountains. continue to Carhuaz 2650masl, Yungay buried city holds history; a 7° earthquake took place in 31 May 1970 at 3:20pm, pieces of the Huascaran mountain’s north peak broke off and caused huge avalanche of mud and ice and in 6 seconds destroyed Yungay. a guided visit will take you around one hour, 1km north is New Yungay, Further on for about one hour we arrive at the base of the Mountain Huascaran and Huandoy, continue until the place called Yuraccorral, from here start walking along the valley visiting the lakes first Orconcocha and bird watching, continue to Chinacocha Lake, then walk along the nicest trail of Maria Josefa full of vegetation, where at the end the car waits and take to the countryside typical restaurant for lunch by their own, come back the same way to Yungay then drive back to Huaraz, arriving at around 6pm to our terminal of Bus Station.

The glacier occupies an Andean peak around 5250masl and so has steep, cliff like edges, with heavily crevassed areas characteristic of a chirque glacier.

Wanuku Pampa or Wanuku Marka (Hispanicized spellings and names Huánuco Pampa, Huánuco Viejo, Huánuco Marca) is an archaeological site in Peru in the Huánuco Region, Dos de Mayo Province, La Unión District. The site lies on a plain above the Urqumayu or Vizcarra River in the north central Andes. Wanuku Pampa is one of the many administrative centers which is built along the highland Inca highway between Cusco and Quito. The land administrated at least five, and perhaps many more, ethnic groups. The city is situated on an important commercial trade route and sits on top of a plateau with ravines on all sides in order to allow easy defense of the city. Wanuku Pampa fell in the 1530s when Pedro de Alvarado besieged the city and burnt it to the ground.
