One of the most imposing historical monuments of Romania is in Bran-Rucar Pass. Bran Castle is located about 30 km away from the city of Braşov, on the road that goes through the old Bartolomeu neighborhood and connects Braşov to Campulung Muscel, the first capital of Wallachia, where the Piatra Craiului Mountains meet with the Bucegi Mountains. Built on a cliff, the castle now houses the Bran museum, a museum that spans its four floors. And although foreign tourists come annually in search of Count Dracula's legend, and the guide emphasizes his mythical side, the history of Bran Castle fascinates them alike. This is a private tour you can customize your visit time at each stop and you can request any visit to nearby points of interest

Sighisoara, a monument protected by UNESCO since 1999, included on the world heritage list, boasts a medieval fortress inhabited today. For the first time in 1280, a fortress was built here. In the 14th century under the citadel were established craftsmen organized in strong guilds, which built around the fortress a stone defense wall, 930 meters long and 4 meters high. Rupea Citadel Romanian: Cetatea Rupea, German: Burg Reps, Hungarian: Kőhalmi vár is one of the oldest archaeological sites in Romania, the first signs of human settlements dating from the Paleolithic and early Neolithic. The first documentary attestation dates from 1324 when the Saxons revolted against King Charles I of Hungary and took refuge inside the citadel. According to archaeologists, the current citadel was built on the ruins of a former Dacian defense fort conquered by the Romans. The name of the citadel comes from Latin rupes meaning ston.

The trail crosses 9 bridges over the river and you have access to 3 caves out of more than 250 that are found here. The abundant flora includes beech, oak, birch, alder, ash, hazelnut and many more. The fauna is represented by various types of wild trout and other fish, small reptiles and amphibians, a wide array of small mammals from mustela family, wild cat, roe deer, wild boar and dozens of species of birds, including the lesser spotted eagle.
