This is a walking and sightseeing full day tour out-of-the beaten track to the southeast tip of Attica, at the area of Lavreotiki. You will discover secret places and hidden treasures only 50km far from the city of Athens. The area had been inhabited since the Neolithic period, mainly due to its rich subsoil. It was the main silver mining center in both ancient and modern Greece and it was this silver that gave ancient Athenians the power to dominate during the Classical era. After Classical Antiquity, the mining activity was stopped, and until the mid-19th century, there are no signs of human presence in there. Lavreotiki is a hilly area with an extended coastline that includes the town of Lavrio and the National Park of Sounion, whilst has a wealth of important archaeological monuments and contemporary history sites. Note: During summera, on Saturday and Sunday departure will be 1 hour earlier, that is at 08h00 am

The tour starts with a visit to the sacred Acropolis hill. Passing through the monumental Propylaia you will be standing in front of the Parthenon enjoying a panoramic view of the city. Next comes the temple of Zeus, the largest temple in the country built for the king of the Olympian Gods, and then a small stop at the stadium of the first modern Olympic Games in 1896. Before we leave Athens we will stop for the changing of the guard and the tomb of the Uknown Soldier. Our day continues with a drive to Ancient Corinth. Following the national highway, we will get to the impressive Corinth Canal for a small stop to enjoy the view.A few more minutes driving and we will get to the cute village of Ancient Corinth. You will be hungry by then so we will have a break to enjoy an authentic Greek launch and then will visit the site of Corinth. You will have the opportunity to explore the Museum and the Archaeological site of Ancient Corinth and lastly you will end up at the bema of St. Paul

This tour will travel you to the famous city of Acient Corinth. Our tour starts driving from the city of Athens to the Corith Canal. Driving by the coast and overlooking the Aegean Sea for approximately an hour we will have our first stop at the Corinth Canal, there you will be able to walk on one of the bridges and see the canal closer. Next follows the village of Ancient Corinth which is only a few minutes far. The village is developed around the Roman Forum of the old city and still preserves its authentic character. We will spent some time in the site of Corinth to see the temple of Apollo, the bema of St Paul, the Forum and of course the Museum. Afterwards we will drive up to the hill of Acrocorinth, where still is preserved the oldest fortress in Peloponesse, enjoy the unique view and even climb up to see part of the fortress. Our trip ends with a drive back to Athens.
