This tour includes both the Alcázar and the Cathedral, as well as a stroll around the city centre. Among other things I will take you to Plaza Nueva, where the town hall is, which features a statue of king Ferdinand III of Castile, who conquered the city in 1248. Then we will go to Plaza del Salvador, a very popular square (which is a meeting point for many Sevillians!), where we have the largest church in town after the Cathedral. Finally we will see the wooden structure popularly known as “las Setas” (“the mushrooms”!). If you want you can get to the top from where you can have nice views of the city.

This tour starts with the two main monuments of the city, the Cathedral and the Alcázar. Then I will take you to Plaza de España, the famous square built for the Ibero-American Expo in year 1929. On our way to Plaza de España we will also see the old tobacco factory, which is now a building of the University of Seville. Later we will visit María Luisa park, where you can admire the fountains and statues and watch how the kids (and adults!) feed the ducks and pigeons. Please note that this tour may not be possible on some days, when under certain weather conditions the park remains closed.
