The history of Jews in Oslo and Norway is brief and distinctive. This tour is also unusual as it covers most of the history on one street. We will begin in front of the location where the first Jewish family settled in Oslo and continue up the city's main street Karl Johan. The street was always bustling with activity, and it's no surprise that Jewish businessmen also opened stores there. Monuments, the Parliament building, and even the city's main church all have some connection to Jewish history. Imagine that even the Royal family has something in common with a Jewish boy from Tunisia. The tour is accompanied by many visual materials and stories from Oslo's Jewish community. Tour ends by the synagogue. Unfortunately It is not always possible to visit it. The walk from the Palace to the synagogue can be challenging. No worries, there is a possibility to take a bus (tickets are not included). If your preferred date is unavailable, please send a message with your preferred tour time.

Choice of luxury vehicle according to number of people in your group. You have the car and the guide at your disposal all day to drive you around and accompany you on a guided walk. Oslo City Center is quite small, and thus perfect for a walk. However, a majority of the city’s highlights are on the outskirts of Oslo, such as the great Vigeland Sculpture Park and the Holmenkollen ski- and recreation area (with the best panorama view of the city!). There is also the "museum peninsula" of Bygdøy, just across the bay, where you will find the open-air Folk Museum, the Fram (Polar) Museum, the Maritime Museum and the Kon-Tiki raft expedition Museum. There are nice restaurants up in the hills or by the fjord for a lunch and/or dinner break We'd gladly recommend one..

This private scenic tour combines the best of Oslo attractions and the beautiful scenic area of Tyrifjord and Jevnaker. The main attraction of the tour is the Kistefos Museum and Gallery. We'll do a guided tour through the outdoor sculpture park and of course the highlight "The Twist" . This is a spectacular "twisted" building or bridge across the river containing modern art. The Twist is listed in New Your times as nr 21 out of 50 of "things to see" in 2020. For a light lunch (cake/coffee) either to Kistefos or when returning we can recommend the Kleivstua Restaurant close to the Queens View.
