Experience one of Madeira’s most memorable sunsets with this great-value shared transfer to Pico do Arieiro, one of the island’s most breathtaking mountain viewpoints. This option uses fixed meeting points only, with no hotel pickup or drop-off included. If trail access is open and conditions allow, you may choose to do the optional self-guided Stairway to Heaven walk. The walk is approximately 2.4 km in total and is not guided, so suitable footwear and care on the trail are recommended. We normally go to Pico do Arieiro, but if weather or visibility conditions are not favourable, an alternative viewpoint may be used to provide the best possible sunset experience.
