A breath taking formation of the longest single curtain of continuous falling water in the world which falls down the gorge at a height of 180 metres at it's peak. The 1,708 metres wide water falls is one of the seven natural wonders of the world. Locally known as the Mosi-Oa-Tunya,which means "the smoke that thunders". One can see the mist from many miles away and hear the thunder of the plunging water in the gorge at a distance of about 200 metres. You learn the myths and facts of the once revered shrine.
