I invite you to see life through the eyes of a local, walking along our award winning main street, taking a look at one or the other shop, ending the walk at our elegant neo-gothic church. Once done with our busy district center, I will take you to the place we love to go to chill the most, when the weather is already fine to sit outside: the district riverfront. This is a marvelous blend of small scale investments and nature a few steps away from the residential areas. A coffee is a must here, but you have dining choices as well.

This old part of the city is full of stunning architecture from the Medieval to the Baroque period. From the walls you can enjoy a sublime view of the Danube and the monumental buildings of Pest. The history of this area goes back to the 13th century and its golden period was in the 15th century. The Ottoman invasion, the Habsburg period and the fights in 1944-1945 had a significant effect on the architectural feature of the district. The most popular sights of this area are the Matthias Church, the Fishermen's Bastion, the Royal Palace and other interesting places under the earth as well. This tour can also be extended on request by a visit to the Watertown, which is a narrow area between the Danube and the Castle Hill.
