With 3 stops in distinct restaurants we’ll also show you the broad variety of tapas! After meeting in the Roman heart of the city it is time to build up your appetite! We will start our history walk through the oldest part of Barcelona: the Gothic Quarter. Our first stop is a traditional pinchos bar: snacks connected by cocktail stick to a slice of bread. Afterwards we´ll pass through the medieval center: El Born. Learn about craftsmen & rich merchants of that time who left an impressive legacy with their palaces & the Basilica of Santa Maria del Mar. Our next tapas bar is known for its regionality - all the food comes from local fields & farms. We will try a variety of elaborated & high quality tapas. The goal of this day trip is to take you away from the hustle and bustle of Barcelona with your family or friends, in a private way, to let you enjoy the Mediterranean breeze. As soon as we leave Barcelona we immerse ourselves in the Catalan countryside. The first stop is Girona (Game of Thrones?). A perfect mix of history, architecture, and...food! We will take a nice stroll through the narrow streets of the Old Town and the Roman Walls. Right after we will move into the Catalan Countryside, we deserve to be surrounded by nature. The second stop is Peratallada, probably the most charming and less-known medieval village in the Empordà region. A nice stroll around and a few pictures later we will take you for lunch at Calella de Palafrugell, an old fishing village formed by several coves that still preserve the charm of the villages of the area, with narrow streets and some traditional two-floor fishermen’s dwellings. Explore Antoni Gaudi's most iconic work of civic architecture: La Pedrera, also known as Casa Milà. "La Pedrera" means "the quarry", because it resembles an open quarry in appearance. Discover the only trip that arrives at 7:30h in Montserrat. We will set off from Barcelona by van for 7 customers from 6:15h till 6:45h from different pick up points or at your hotel or near by if it's in Eixample area. First we will visit the Abbey and the Black Madonna and we won't be faced with lines to see this fantastic piece of art from the XIIth century. After that, you'll have almost one hour free time till 9:20h. During your free time you can have breakfast, stay inside the Abbey during more time, etc At 9:10h we will go with the van during 15 minutes to another place in Montserrat to do a hiking tour. You'll have two options: hiking with me or hiking alone. -Hiking with me: We'll walk 5,86km / 3,64ml with a positive and negative slope of 246m / 807feet. We will walk all the time in the path forest (no stairs and not paved path). There won't be any tourists in there, only local people. At 12:30h we’ll go back to Barcelona to arrive before.
