Being able to enjoy a cultural, gastronomic, mountain hiking experience, and the history and biodiversity of the island as a real place. Our activity will take you to eat like a local, in the restaurants that locals go to. Eat a regional kebab, drink a poncha, all this as a true Madeiran does, along trails little used by those who visit us. Get to know the story told by a certified guide born and raised on the island. Have a social and economic impact on local communities, thus bringing sustainability to our activity.

These tours are designed for those who want to spend a day with a local, like a local, avoiding crowds and visiting even the must-see places at the quietest times. All tours are led by a single guide — myself — and I love what I do. I always add something special to each tour, making it unique, just like my guests, and I go the extra mile to ensure an unforgettable experience. I begin every tour with a personal agenda, because I want you to feel the love and passion I have for this incredibly beautiful island!

Come with us and visit an unique space dedicated to Madeira’s traditional sugar cane honey cake, where you can explore its history, flavours and heritage through an interactive experience. We visit the confeitaria Felisberta, a recovered old bakery that reopened on 2026, where you can learn about the history of sugar cane in Madeira, the creation of the sugar cane honey cake "Bolo de Mel" and the recipe, and explore with the help of interactive pannels and items the truth behind our traditions. At the end you would be able to bring a souvenier from your experience

Experience a scenic drive from your accommodation to the top of Funchal, where we visit a very beautifull Tea House called Hortensias Gardens. Enjoy the amazing views on this prevelidged zone of Funchal and also experience a little bit of Madeira cuisine, where you will be able to choose from an eclectic selection of teas or coffees, and cakes or pies. Sip and savor the flavors in the serene garden of the tea house. Also you have the possibility of walking a small Levada and experience this cultural activity of Madeira. And if you prefer, we can also do the full levada first and them at the end we go to the gardens to rest. Afterwards we visit two beautifull viewpoints, Curral dos Romeiros and Our Lady of Peace Shrine.
