After a safety briefing, we’ll journey 6km upstream (12km round trip) to the furthest navigable point, offering captivating commentary on the region’s history, fishing industry, and unique wildlife. We pull our lobster pots, re-bait, then re-set them back into the ocean- keeping the prize catch where we return to the marina & you have the option to take some Rock Lobster with you! We have the capacity to pull up to 12 lobster pots so tour times vary between 1-2 hours depending on the catch rate.

Kalbarri is privileged with seasonal visits of the majestic Humpback Whale and the occasional Southern Right Whale. They begin to migrate past Kalbarri from June every year from the food-rich southern ocean to breeding grounds in the warm northern waters. The whales are seen traveling back south around August en route to the colder seas to grow and mature.
