Shore Excursion: Lake District Adventure Sightseeing Day Trip from Liverpool

We call into Bowness to get an upclose view of England's Longest Lake. We allow time for those who want to go for the Lake Cruise to get their tickets and then continue with our journey to Ambleside to meet the incoming Lake Cruiser

This is the highlight of the day for many.....Fresh Air, Stunning Views and the chance to walk off some of those calories.

As we leave Blea Tarn we head out through Great Langdale and "Little Switzerland" as we travel on to Ambleside

This is the home of the world famous Grasmere Gingerbread Shop and the final resting place of William Wordsworth.

Delight in the aroma of freshly baked Gingerbread before stepping back in time into this quaint little shop where you will be greeted by characters from Victorian days. Oh Yes, don't forget to stock up on that lovely Gingerbread....it is world famous.

Spend time wandering around this typical Lake District Town, looking for evidence of the old mills, trying some of the cuisine or just taking in the charm of this lovely place on the northern shores of Windermere. If the weather is really nice, we may reduce stay to 30 minutes and encourage that you buy goodies for an ourdoor picnic in the Langdales.
