Join us for a guided Clear kayak and snorkel experience! Viewing Maui’s marine life and reefs through a Clear kayak is an unforgettable experience. Yes, you can see right through the bottom of your kayak! We see turtles, various fish, eels, rays, dolphins, and, in the winter months, humpback whales! The surrounding views while we are paddling include Haleakala, the west Maui mountains, Olowalu Valley, and other islands such as Kaho‘olawe, Lanai, and Molokai offshore.

Our activity is suitable for ages 3 and above. No kayaking or snorkeling experience is necessary.

Our 3-hour activity runs from 7 am until 10 am daily as this is the best time of day for nice, calm conditions
It includes a meet-up, safety briefing, launching, kayaking, and snorkeling! Once on the water, you will paddle over several reefs inside of your Clear kayak, gazing at the beauty below and the beautiful Maui scenery around you. There is also an OPTIONAL snorkel portion included in the tour! You may wish to get out of the kayaks to snorkel or, if not, you can stay in your Clear kayak and gaze at our beautiful reefs below.

You will be driving along Highway 30 to get to Olowalu. There will be a green "mile marker 14" sign on the mountain side of the highway. You will need to park opposite mile marker 14 on the OCEAN side of the highway on the gravel area (not on the sand). Your tour guide will meet you here.

Individual weight limit is strictly 220 lbs due to the nature of our clear kayaks. If someone in your group weighs over 220 lbs then please contact us and we can reserve a single regular kayak with a weight limit of 290 lbs for them. We have two of these available. The weight limit is for your own safety. It is company policy for our tour guides to weigh each individual using scales at the meeting location on the day of the tour. If you report your weight incorrectly and then weigh over the limit on the day then we will not be able to accommodate you and you will receive no refund. Please contact us if you have questions about weight distribution before booking.
Weight limit for tandem kayak is 420 lbs *Individual weight limit of 220 lbs still applies. You will automatically be assigned a tandem kayak for a booking of 2 adults. We are a small company and only have a limited number of clear kayaks for each tour.
If you have ANY medical conditions we need to be made aware of for your safety (including if you are pregnant) or if you have dietary restrictions then please advise us of this via email.
