Your journey begins at the meeting point and leads you to Porto no Suke Bridge, where you'll learn about Sakai's importance as a trade hub during the Edo period. Next, enjoy a delicious multi-course lunch at "Ume-no-Hana," a restaurant known for its seasonal kaiseki cuisine, with vegan options available. After lunch, you'll be welcomed into the serene atmosphere of Rishō-no-Mori, where you'll experience a traditional Japanese tea ceremony, offering a moment of reflection and cultural insight. Your journey continues to Sakai Tōji, a workshop renowned for its traditional blade-making. Here, you'll engage in a hands-on knife handle fitting experience, and take home your own engraved, personalized blade—a true symbol of Japanese craftsmanship.
