Ios: Cooking Experience with Cheese and Wine Tasting

local dish by Thia Froso, a cheese-tasting platter and a guided tour in our museum. In detail, you will help our grandma prepare a local recipe and then you will cook it in our stone stove as locals do. Then you will continue with the rest of the experience. You visit a new olive grove, our chicken house and goats, and you are guided in the museum and the exhibits about the rural life of Ios through the centuries. Last but not least, you enjoy a tasting including ~9 kinds of cheese, 2 kinds of honey, homemade fig marmalade, wine and liqueur combined with dry fruit, breadsticks and tomatoes with olive oil from our olive trees. When you finish you will take away the meal you cooked in a special box to eat on the beach or later!
