From Haifa to Nazareth and the Sea of Galilee Private Tour

The large basilica is placed, according the tradition over the Virgin Mary's house, where the Annunciation happened. The unexpectable architecture, different artwork gifts from different countries and communities, and, of course, the holy place, the Cave of Annunciation itself. But why is it so new and what can we see below? How did Nazareth look like at Jesus' days?

Traditionally, it is a place of St. Josef's workshop where he taught Jesus to be a carpenter. But, what did Jesus actually do all his Nazareth's years? What did this place used to be? And what is the Jewish mikveh doing in the crypt?

We'll visit the modern replica of the Byzantine church with a real floor from the fifth century, including the famous mosaic of Loaves and Fishes. But why is the floor partly black in white and partly in color? And why are there only four loaves of bread at the famous mosaic?
