Start at the Eiffel Bridge, designed by the world-renowned architect Gustave Eiffel who created the iconic Eiffel Tower in Paris. The iron bridge, famous for its eye-catching red color and ornate grid-like cover, connects the heart of the Old Town with the New City. From this footbridge, you can admire the fabulous views of the charming Onyar River below, lined by picturesque, brightly-colored houses.

City Walls, declared Assets of Cultural and National Interest. These are what remain of the old city walls originally built by the Romans between the 9th and 14th centuries to protect Girona. Several towers with spiral staircases attached to these city walls offer the best panoramic views of the city, which makes a perfect end to the tour.
