5 Days: Desert Sahara Tour and Mount Toubkal Trek From Marrakech

Day 1: Marrakech → Imlil → Toubkal Refuge Morning: Drive from Marrakech to the village of Imlil (1,740m). Hike: Begin trekking through the Ait Mizane Valley, passing the Aremd village and the Sidi Chamharouch shrine. Stay: Overnight at the Toubkal Refuge (3,207m) after approximately 5 hours of walking.

Day 2: Summit (4,167m) → Imlil Early Morning: Start the ascent at dawn to reach the summit of Mount Toubkal. Descent: Return to the refuge for lunch, then continue down to Imlil (or stay in Aroumd village) for the night to prepare for the desert journey.

3-Day Sahara Desert Tour Day 3: Imlil → Tizi n'Tichka → Dades Valley Sightseeing: Drive across the High Atlas Mountains via the scenic Tizi n'Tichka Pass (2,260m). Culture: Visit the UNESCO World Heritage site Ait Ben Haddou, a famous mud-brick kasbah and filming location for movies like Gladiator. Stay: Continue through Ouarzazate to spend the night in Dades Valley.

Day 4: Dades Valley → Todra Gorges → Merzouga Landscape: Explore the narrow Todra Gorges, then drive toward Merzouga. Desert Experience: In the late afternoon, take a camel trek into the Erg Chebbi dunes to watch the sunset. Stay: Overnight in a traditional Berber desert camp under the stars with dinner and music

Day 5: Merzouga → Marrakech Morning: Wake up for the sunrise over the dunes, then ride camels back to the village. Journey: Begin the long drive back to Marrakech, passing through the Draa Valley and the Atlas Mountains, arriving in the evening.
