( 2 hours journey ) Arrival at Lodge: Welcome drinks, orientation, check-in. 1600 hrs: Afternoon boat cruise along the river. After dinner: Guided night walk. Overnight at Lodge. Day 2 0500 hrs: View misty Kinabatangan River. 0600 hrs: Morning boat cruise (wildlife sightings). 0800 hrs: Breakfast. 0900 hrs: Jungle walk . 1200 hrs: Lunch and rest. 1600 hrs: Afternoon wildlife boat cruise. After dinner: Night walk. Overnight at Lodge. Day 3 0600 hrs: Morning river cruise (birds, wildlife). 0700 hrs: Breakfast. 0830 hrs: Check-out, transfer to Sandakan. Drop-off at accommodation or airport (recommended flight 1400 hrs onwards).
