The Oregon Coast is an experience like no other and our guides have selected a quieter, slower approach to the day: a visit to Haystack Rock in Cannon Beach; hikes through old-growth forests to views beyond what the common tourist sees; up-close encounters with the iconic monoliths that make the Oregon Coast so unusual; a lunch stop in a sweet beach town; recommendations for our favorite cinnamon rolls, pie or ice cream; sand (if you want it) between your toes. Day tours can feel long but ours feels more like a just-right exploration with plenty of time to sit however you like with the majesty of the ocean -- or spend most of your time wandering in the forest as you listen to waves crash beneath you. If you choose to walk with us in the forest, your day will include some short but steep low-elevation incline hiking.

Over the next decade, as the population of Portland doubled, Alberta thrived and its business district would mirror those streetcar districts throughout the city. In the 1940s, as the automobile took over, redlining created a thriving multicultural neighborhood that would become known for art, jazz, great food, and a tight community. We'll explore this now hip neighborhood, its ice cream, coffee, art, history, and find out what makes it so special. One hour, 1.25 miles (2 km).

There is said to be over 4000 waterfalls; many are hidden away, but many are just a short hike off the Historic Highway. On this afternoon half-day tour you'll make new friends while exploring "waterfall alley", including views of the Vista House and a stop at Multnomah Falls, the tallest waterfall in Oregon and most visited site in the Pacific Northwest. We'll begin with coffee, tea or hot cocoa at a shop that roasts its own beans, and sample some single-origin coffee so we'll be ready for lots of sweets to come. The itinerary will vary based on shop hours and customer tastes, but we'll always tell the story of Voodoo Donuts. We'll always stop at at least two doughnut shops and one or two coffee shop depending on the group. If there is any adventure that we love more than biking in the Columbia River Gorge, we would be hard-pressed to identify it. The adventure here is a challenge but not an unsurmountable one; from one end of the Columbia River Gorge Scenic Highway to another, or an out-and-back ride from a stunning viewpoint, along a scenic highway, then onto a protected bike/pedestrian pathway. Either way, we will ride some of the country's most beautiful roads and visit beautiful waterfalls like Multnomah and Horsetail Falls. Lunch will be on your own with our recommendations

It features waterfalls, mountains, monoliths, terraces, resort towns, vineyards, orchards, and The River, harboring a plethora of fish and birds, and unique plants and invertebrates. In the early 1900s, Portlanders would drive their Model T cars along the Columbia River Highway to gaze at waterfalls. It was the first scenic highway built in America. There is said to be over 4000 waterfalls; many are hidden away, but many are just a short hike off the Historic Highway. On this ALL-INCLUSIVE tour you'll explore the western, rainforested, southern side of the Gorge, dubbed "waterfall alley" where we'll have you getting wet under a waterfall, peering over cliffs, and learning stories of the area only the locals know.

Want to check out Portland's hot thrift shop scene? You just have to know where to go! Come along with me for a tour of shops that include everything from items plucked out of the dump to high-end Prada at a second hand boutique! Portland's thrifting culture is rooted in our respect for the environment and a commitment to re-use and recycle useable goods rather than send them to the landfill. Consequently, we have many thrift shops of every kind and category! There's no place better to begin than SE Hawthorne Ave., a vibrant street of secondhand shops, as well as a food carts, coffee shops, and small businesses selling made-in-portland goods. It's my treat for coffee or cocktails as we meet to get acquainted and caffeinated! This is a team experience so we can share what we're looking for and act as scouts for each other (me: Frye boots, color brown, size 10). I look forward to going thrifting with you in Portland!

O centro é acessível a pé e compacto.
