Brisbane's iconic bridge

There's nothing like seeing Brisbane from the top of its famous Story Bridge. The views are incredible, from the Glass House Mountains to Moreton Bay and the Scenic Rim. Whether it's the crack of dawn or the depths of night, it's a sight to behold. And it's fun to walk under the bright LED lights of the bridge that paint the night with ever-changing hues.

The climb

It all starts at the base camp, where your guide will brief you and your fellow explorers. Climb up a spiral staircase that leads to the walkway above the road. From there, the guide leads to the south end of the bridge, where the climb goes up the steep arm of the bridge until the top. Once you reach the summit, prepare to be blown away by breathtaking 360-degree views of Brisbane and its twinkling surroundings. And just when you think it can't get any better, venture halfway across the river before returning to the top platform for a group snapshot.
