varu and skiing back down to the starting point. This activity is NOT for beginner skiers. You should have a minimum level of fitness and know how into alpine skiing. This activity it is NOT a ski lesson or learn to ski package. You should already know how to ski, but this experience takes you further into this great winter atmosphere. Ski-touring or ski-mountaineering involves alpine skis with special rolling bindings and a "seal skin" glued on the back of the skis, that helps you slide forward but not slide backwards. The special equipment is needed to advance flat or uphill, on snow, to reach your destination. The meeting is at 18h at our rental center, where we will adjust your boots / skis / bindings and if this is your first time, we will teach you the basics of ski-touring. then we will all go (short walk) to Bradu slope, which is our starting point on skis. This easy flat slope is a great place to start experiencing the ski-touring equipment. we continue on Drumul Rosu, all the way to Cabana Postavaru. We stop for a cup of hot tea before skiing down to our starting point using head lights.
