Private sightseeing tour to the Windmills and cheese incl. Guide

There are 7 windmills left at the Zaanse Schans and a few are open to visit. You will visit the paint windmill (that is where Rembrandt the great Dutch artist purchased his paint) and you will see the saw mill from inside Admission to the windmill park and parking costs are also included in this tour.

There is a possibility to buy the wooden shoes, the clogs and other souvenirs in the wooden shoe factory as well.

You will get an explanation how the Henri Willig farm makes their cheese from the milk of their Jersey cows. They have a automatic milking robot and see how they milk their cows automatically. After the cows it is time to taste their special Gouda cheese. You can eat as much cheese as you want for free! There are more than 30 different types of cheese, so enjoy! There is a possibility to buy cheese and if you don't have enough room in your suitcase you can let them ship the cheese to your country.

You can have a nice lunch in one of the best fish restaurants in town and buy very nice fresh Dutch waffles or stroll over the famous dijk and see the nice harbor of Volendam. There is also a possibility to buy some souvenirs as well.
