This tour will give you an idea of the glorious civilisations around the Mediterranean Sea since Phoenician times til nowadays. Get an idea of ancient Roman capital Tarraco and enjoy the trendy beach town of Sitges on the way back.

This tour starts with the hotel pickup in Barcelona. We travel in a comfortable air-conditioned SUV to Tarragona where we stop for a photo at the Devil's Bridge before we start a walking tour of the city at the Balcony of the Mediterranean . We walk along the seafront to the amphitheater, then we walk to the circus, the forum and the cathedral.

We enter Santa Tecla cathedral, a masterpiece of gothic architecture built on top of the foundations of a Roman temple. After the visit, we can stay in the area for a yummy lunch in the center of town.

In the afternoon we commute to the trendy beach town of Sitges, where you have time for shopping, a sunbath or a chilly time in a street café.
