Nottingham is famous for many things but historically it was always renowned for its lace. We will explore the old streets and lanes and learn the history of the old city itself.

it's not hard to see why when we walk through the streets with fashionable restaurants, pubs and shops.

Dominated by its magnificent old town hall, the Old Market Square is about 13,000 sq feet, one of the largest city squares anywhere. Host to lots of local events and with shopping streets fanning out in all directions and trams nipping by. Home to several icons of Nottingham and also to some incredible history that even many locals just walk right over without noticing.

Many locals don't even know this is here. The only surviving and visible ruins of the old medieval walls that once stretched more than a mile around the city.

An old Crusader pub, hence the name. One of the very oldest pubs anywhere and partially built into the rock under Nottingham Castle. A great place to have a drink at the end of the tour or if you prefer, stay on for a meal.
