It's a simple and well-organized way to get to know the Amazon rainforest in a short time. You don't need to be an expert or have days off: we take care of everything. You walk along trails surrounded by nature, see animals in their habitat, and spend the night in a comfortable lodge in the middle of the jungle. It's a real experience, unhurried and uncomplicated.
to begin our journey. Our first stop will be the pre-Inca cemetery of Ninamarca. From there, we will travel through the mountains until we reach Tres Cruces, the highest point and main entrance to Manu National Park. This area is one of the most protected natural regions in South America.
Along the way, we will be able to observe Peru's national bird, the cock-of-the-rock, and the large choro monkey. We will also pass by bromeliads and orchids, and with luck, animals such as the Andean bear, the blue-banded tucan, the golden-headed quetzal, and the crested quetzal.
After settling in, we will have an optional night walk through the jungle, where we can observe tarantulas, frogs, snakes, night monkeys, boas, and more. Rubber boots will be provided for safety.
Along the way, you will hear the songs of macaws, woodpeckers, toucans, and parrots. We will learn about local medicinal plants and look for different species of monkeys, such as squirrel monkeys, capuchins, marmosets, and howlers.
