This oval bullfighting arena is cut into the rock that rises above the settlement and is one of the most picturesque in Andalusia. Its development began in 1900 at the request of Mijas locals. Take in the scenery of Ermita de la la Virgen de la peña and visit the Mijas Contemporary Art Museum and the Ethnographic Museum, both of which feature exhibitions of historic local crafts and recreations of centuries-old structures.
