Then transfer to the little village of Imlil (1h30m) where you begin your trek.

We reach it by crossing the floodplains as/and? our route takes us along a mule trail. Having crossed the river we eventually come to the pastoral shrine of Sidi Chamarouch, which attracts tourists and pilgrims.

up to Toubkal refuge (3207m), our stop for the night.

Our trail takes us up the north cirque, crossing the river above the refuge. The walking is relatively straightforward, but the scree and the altitude may make walking quite difficult at times. The views along the way are amazing, breathtaking and make the journey more than worthwhile. When you reach the summit you will enjoy stunning views across the surrounding landscape. From Toubkal summit there are unrestricted views in every direction, from the Marrakesh Plain to the High Atlas in the north and as far south as the Anti-Atlas and the Sahara. After the rest at the peak (picture taking time included), you will retrace you steps and return to Toubkal refuge to spend there another night.

ugh the village of Armed and the Mizane Valley. You will walk around the Berber villages of Imlil Valley to find out more about the lifestyle of the Berbers. Once you arrive back to Imlil, a car will be waiting to take you back to Marrakech.
