One fo the main sights is the Ghetto museum which is dedicated to the history of the Theresienstadt Ghetto, a Nazi-established Jewish ghetto and transit camp during World War II. The museum features two permanent exhibitions: the Children’s Memorial Hall, which honors the ghetto’s children with their names displayed on the walls, along with their poems and drawings, and Terezín in the Final Solution, an exhibition on the first floor that details the beginning of the persecution of Jews in the Protectorate, the establishment and life in the ghetto, and the transports to labor and extermination camps.
