Full Day Full Archaeological in Trujillo

Your tour begins in the Huaca Esmeralda, an ancient temple of Chimu culture, renowned for its adobe walls adorned with elegant geometric designs.

Then we head to the Rainbow Huaca or Dragon Huaca, an important ceremonial center that surprises by its colorful murals alluding to fertility and the natural world.

Later, we will meet the Chan Chan Site Museum, which preserves valuable original pieces found in the excavations of this ancient mud city.

We will continue with the visit to the Nik An Palace, one of the most imposing precincts of the Great Citadel of Chan Chan, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Then we head to the traditional beach resort of Huanchaco, with free time to enjoy a lunch in front of the sea and capture images of the emblematic totora horses, ancestral legacy of the ancient Mochicas.

After lunch, we continue with the visit to Huaca del Sol and Huaca de la Luna, important Mochica ceremonial complexes that stand out for their polychrome murals and monumental adobe architecture.
