From Messina: Private Tour of Savoca, Taormina and Castelmola

Once you disembark from the ship I will wait for you at gate 5 of the cruise terminal. From here we will begin our journey to Savoca which will last about 1 hour by car

the film "The Godfather" by Fred Francis Coppola were shot, we will stop at the Vitelli bar, famous for being the bar in the film, where it will be possible to taste a typical Sicilian granita. Another stop on our tour will be the church of "Santa Maria in cielo Assunta" which we also find in some excerpts of the film such as the wedding between Michael Corleone and Apollonia.

d taste almond wine in the famous Bar Turrisi known for the presence of phallic shapes used as decorations. These symbols are not to be designated as vulgar, but as a symbol of fertility, prosperity and freedom according to the ideas of Greek culture. You will also have the opportunity to taste almond wine and exquisite Sicilian cannoli.

We will arrive at Piazza San Pancrazio, where travellers will make their tour and will be able to visit the characteristic streets of Corso Umberto, admire the beautiful landscapes and go to the Greek-Roman theatre of Taormina (the cost of the entrance ticket is excluded from the tour price).

Once our tour is over we will return to Messina, but before taking you to the ship we will take you on a tour of the historic center of the city, where it will be possible to admire some of the most important attractions such as the panorama of Christ the King, the Cathedral of Messina and the very famous mechanical astronomical clock of our city.
