Refresh the dive theory through online learning, and update your skills at our local marine reserves! Our instructor will take you through the equipment setup, basic dive skills and theory. Once the skills have been completed, you'll have a chance to use them during a dive, and explore New Zealands underwater world.

You'll have to complete the dive medical declaration before participating in any in-water activities, and might need to be signed off by a dive doctor before being allowed to dive.

Upskill yourself with a Refresher Course!
It is easy for dive skills to get rusty and for divers to lose confidence when you have not dived for a while, so why not take the stress away by updating your skills on a Refresher Course. This course provides you with the opportunity to review and practice necessary scuba skills that you learned in your original Open Water Diver program under the guidance of a Dive Professional. Your instructor will review the knowledge you learned in your Open Water Diver course and they will also cover any new material you should know about. You will review dive planning, dive skills and dive execution to keep you safe during future diving activities. The refresher course starts at 8:30am at our dive shop. Contact us if you prefer an afternoon course. Our scheduling is flexible.

Not recommended for travelers with poor cardiovascular health

Travelers should have at least a moderate level of physical fitness
Evidence of dive certification is required from all divers wishing to participate in a dive.
Diving within 48 hours of flying is not recommended. All participants will be required to complete a health questionnaire prior to diving. Some pre-existing medical conditions (eg asthma, heart conditions, etc) may prevent you from diving, please consult your doctor
