In Lünen geht es weiter durch die Kolonien „Oberbecker“ und „Ziethenstraße“ zum 1925 in Betrieb genommenen Preußenhafen am Datteln-Hamm-Kanal. Über Schloss Schwansbell mit seiner lebhaften Geschichte und dem 1996 im Rahmen der Landesgartenschau angelegten Seepark Lünen, geht es vorbei an der Halde, dem Verwaltungsgebäude, dem Casino – seit 1987 Bürgerhaus – sowie der Zechensiedlung „Horstmar“, der schon 1929 stillgelegten Zeche Preußen II. Wir setzen unsere Tour fort Richtung Lanstrop. Sehen die Wasserburg Haus Wenge, den Wasserturm Lanstroper Ei mit stählernem K-Fachwerk – seit 1981 Baudenkmal der Stadt Dortmund – und schließlich den Luftschacht Rote Fuhr, ein Wetterschacht in den Jahren 1925 bis 1927 der Schachtanlage Preußen II.
