Common questions about booking Lilongwe experiences through SimilarTours

Private tours here unlock access to wildlife reserves and cultural experiences you won't reach independently, plus guides handle the logistics and provide real context. Self-guided city exploration is possible, but safari and multi-region itineraries almost always run as organized tours.
Private transfers from Lilongwe to Lake Malawi, Blantyre, Mzuzu, and other regions are straightforward to arrange. Taxis and minibuses exist locally, but check before you go on current conditions and safety recommendations for independent travel.
Accommodation, meals, guide services, and park fees are common, but it varies by operator and tour length. Some tours exclude lodging (you arrange your own), so read the fine print carefully before booking to confirm what's covered.
Yes-full-day city tours of Lilongwe and single-day coffee farm visits are available. For longer multi-day safaris and lake experiences, you'll need at least 5-6 days to make the journey and activities worthwhile.
