Scan your voucher or show your confirmation to receive access and instructions for your digital audio guide, digital map, or guidebook. If you have a hosted ticket or guided tour, your English-speaking host or guide will lead you to the correct entrance before you begin exploring.
What to expect
St. Peter's Basilica
Walk into the principal Papal Basilica and explore its vast interior at your own pace or with an English-speaking guide, depending on your chosen option.

Papal Tombs
Descend to the Papal Tombs, where many former popes are laid to rest, for a more contemplative part of your visit.

• Access the Papal Tombs is included with Basilica entry on selected options, either self-guided or with an English-speaking guide.
• Listen to dedicated audio commentary on the Papal Tombs with variants that include the audio tour, so you understand the history and significance of this space.
• Spend time moving quietly through the tombs at your own pace, or follow your guide who will point out notable resting places and explain their role in Church history.
Dome of St. Peter's Basilica
Climb Michelangelo's Dome for elevated views over Vatican City and Rome with the Dome variants.
Features
• Reach the Dome terrace by lift with elevator options, then continue on foot for approximately 300 to 320 steps to the summit, or climb all 551 steps using the staircase-only option.
• Look out over St. Peter's Square, the Vatican Gardens, and Rome's rooftops from the Dome summit, gaining a sense of the Basilica's scale and position in the city.
• Follow timing indicated on your ticket, where your Basilica reserved entry and Dome access are scheduled separately, usually 1 to 1.5 hours apart, to space your visit.

Vatican Museums
On selected combo options, extend your experience into the Vatican Museums before entering the Basilica.

Guided options add an English-speaking expert who leads you through the Vatican Museums, Sistine Chapel, Basilica, and Papal Tombs, sometimes using a special passage into the Basilica so you can focus on the art and history rather than logistics.
