No deep study required—just a sense of wonder and a willingness to move. It’s a chance to wear the spirit of the samurai, even if just for a moment.
Though the original building no longer stands, the site has been carefully excavated and preserved to reflect its historical atmosphere. Managed with attention to its past, it offers a rare and authentic setting for dressing in replica armor and capturing unforgettable photos and videos. Once suited up, you’ll enjoy photo sessions both within the museum space and around the outdoor grounds. With no modern structures in sight, the location provides a cinematic backdrop that feels timeless. Its historical depth aside, it’s also simply a fun and memorable place to explore. After the photo sessions, you’ll receive guided instruction in basic sword movements. Training is conducted primarily with wooden practice swords, with occasional use of iaido-style unsharpened blades to demonstrate refined techniques. The focus is on posture, control, and enjoying the rhythm of movement—no prior experience needed. Please note: All swords used are safe for practice and not sharpened.
Look for the sign that says "SAMURAI EXPERIENCE."
