Our tour starts at an authentic lively fish market. Enjoy a variety of fish caught that morning at over 20 local fishing grounds. As we stroll through, you learn fascinating facts about where the fish come from, how they're caught, and how they end up at the market. Plus, I'll quiz you along the way! You can taste FREE TUNA! & purchase fresh tuna fillets or blocks. Without your knowledgable guide, navigating the market's local Yokohama dialect can be tricky. The tour wraps up with a walk around the in-market restaurants and shops offering delicious fish dishes and sushi (food not included). This tour is perfect for: -Sushi lovers eager to learn more about ingredients -Anyone who loves fresh seafood Meet me at the NORTH gate of JR East Yokohama Station. We’ll return to Yokohama station around 9:00 ~ 9:30, but feel free to stay behind and enjoy a meal at one of the market’s restaurants. Did you know there are NO fisheries in the greater Tokyo area? Please see me at the NORTH ticket gate of JR East Yokohama train station. There are 4 four ticket gates, such as NORTH, Central North, Central South, and South gates. You will never find me at the Central North gates. There is a kiosk called "Newdays". I will be around that ticket gate or kiosk.
