An unforgettable trek through the remote splendor of the magnificent Simien region. Often compared for its scenic beauty to the Grand Canyon, thiamine Mountains National Park is one of the major highlands of Africa. Its peaks include Ras Dashed, which at 4533m is the highest peak in Ethiopia. The Park is a World Heritage Site, and is rich with wildlife totally unique to the region, including the scarlet-chested Gelada Baboon, the Alia Ibex and the Simien Fox. The mountains are also home to diverse plant-life and over fifty species of bird.

Meet with vehicles and drive to Sankabar the gateway to the Simien Mountains National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Meet with guides and prepare for trek.
Debark, Ethiopia
Trek Sankaber – Geech (3,600m elevation) which will take between 5-7 hours. After one and half hours, see the Jinnbar River and falls which you will cross later in the day. After crossing the river, ascend for about 2 hours to Geech. The scenery is wonderful and a herd of Gelada Baboons can be seen on the journey and in the afternoon drive back to Gondar
