The Teaspoon that you will experience making is made from Kyomei bamboo "white bamboo". You can complete it on the spot and take it home. Kyomei bamboo "white bamboo" is shaved to the desired fineness with a small knife and finished with sandpaper. Please come and remember your sightseeing in Kyoto.
The bamboo teaspoon you will be making is a traditional craft, passed on to the present day made by hand. You can take your teaspoon back home on the day you make it. Please make a reservation at least 3 days in advance.
It will be held at TAKENOKO.
