One of the smaller towns, Kitulagala, is known for its adventure sports. There are many trees and hills surrounding the town. In addition to everything else, the epic 1957 Oscar-winning film "Bridge on the River Kwai" by David Lean was filmed here. The majority of tourists who engage in adventure sports are from different regions of Sri Lanka. The primary attraction in Kitulgala is whitewater rafting. Additionally, it's well renowned for pursuits like jungle trekking, waterfall abseiling, stream sliding, and confidence leaping. Last but not least, there's cave and river exploration.
