Shanghai Wild Animal Park combines drive-through safaris with pedestrian zones so you can see wildlife from both close-up walking trails and vehicle routes.

Features

• Access to drive-through and pedestrian areas lets you divide your time between walking circuits and the safari routes where animals are viewed from vehicles. You can also enter the self-drive safari area if you arrive with your own car, following park safety regulations and staff instructions.

• A bus tour through the safari area is included, with a standard bus ride in the drive-through area for General Entry Tickets with Bus Ride or a free bus for evening vehicle entry for Evening Entry Tickets after 3pm, so you can experience the main safari sections without purchasing additional transport.

• Sea Lion Theater performances are included, with free access to animal shows there, and you can also watch animal shows and other free performances at Sun Plaza, which is a designated performance area inside the park.

• Dedicated animal interaction areas allow closer, supervised contact with selected species, while animal science and behavior displays explain habitats, feeding habits, and conservation themes as you move between zones.

• A free bus tour within the park helps you cover longer distances between sections efficiently, and your admission ticket is valid as a 1-day ticket for students, seniors, or children as per the option selected, with admission to the zoo included in both variants.

• Evening admission after 3pm on the same day is available with the Evening Entry Tickets after 3pm variant, while the General Entry Tickets with Bus Ride variant provides general admission during regular hours; both options come with worry-free cancellation conditions specified at booking.

Wrapping up

Before you leave, check the schedule for remaining animal shows or Sun Plaza performances and use the internal free bus tour to return toward the main exit. If you booked the self-drive safari area or bus routes, complete these circuits in time for the 7:30 PM admission cutoff and 9:00 PM park closing, then make your way back using your preferred route outside the park.
