The imposing monument takes the form of Roman-type stone arches extending over 800m and taking more than ten years to finish. This 18th-century hydraulic structure was used to transfer water over 10 km from the Saint-Clément spring to the Water Tower and supply water for numerous fountains throughout the old town.

The charming botanical garden, covering almost 5 hectares in the heart of Montpellier, is the oldest in France. As a part of the Faculty of Medicine, the garden hosts a large collection of medicinal plants, alongside a diversity of breathtaking greenery and flowers, including greenhouses, enchanting lotus ponds, romantic alleys, and the 400-year-old ‘wishing tree’.
