Pétanque classes in Provence

Spend a delightful afternoon learning one of France’s favorite pastimes - pétanque! To begin, an expert will get you an introduction to the rules of the game and tell you the origin of this sport. Then, you will learn how to handle the game, how to throw, shoot, score, and master the art of scoring a point. Once you have learned the basics, you will practice your throwing techniques in a friendly competitive game of "boules" (balls) against other tour participants, with a glass of rosé or pastis in your hand of course! A trophy will be awarded to the winning team during an aperitif with Pastis, rosé, and traditional Provencal appetizers (anchovy, tapenade, mushrooms, etc.).
