t is a town dedicated to tourism, it has a restaurant and a craft market that you can visit at the entrance and exit of the train station. At the end of the Machu Picchu tour, you will have enough time in the town of Aguas Calientes to eat and buy handicrafts calmly. The time to go up and down from the town of Aguas Calientes to the sanctuary of Machu Picchu is 30 minutes each way.
While the train journey from Ollanyatambo to the town of Aguas Calientes is 1 hour and a half.
In this town we can only make the stop for this tour. However, to get to know the Ollantaytambo fortress we offer the Sacred Valley tour in which you can also get to know Maras, Moray, Pisaq, Chinchero and Urubamba
We will start our adventure by picking you up from your hotel for a 2-hour trip to Ollantaytambo Station. There we will board the train to Aguas Calientes where our guide will meet you to assist you with the boarding of the bus to the citadel. After a 30-minute ascent, we will enter Machu Picchu to enjoy a 3-hour guided tour and free time for photographs. Finally, we will return to Aguas Calientes for lunch before taking the train back to Ollantaytambo, where our transport will wait to transfer you back to your hotel in Cusco.
